I truly believe that:
a) You don't need a gym membership to get healthy and fit.
b) To stay healthy and fit, you need to find physical activities that you enjoy.

I love lifting and doing cardio. But I know this is certainly not for everyone. If you don't find something that you enjoy, you probably won't stick with it long term. Perfect example...New Years Resolutions. The first business day of the new year...gyms are PACKED! By February, not so much.
This morning, my husband went to work very early and we didn't get our typical lift in together. That's okay because I was able to get another fun workout in at home. I plugged in some gymnastics on YouTube, got out some weights, and it was AWESOME!
This is what I did:
25 jumping jacks
100 bicep curls
25 jumping jacks
100 front raises
25 jumping jacks
100 side raises
25 jumping jacks
100 upright rows
25 jumping jacks
4 minute 90 degree bicep hold
100 bicep curls
25 jumping jacks
100 front raises
25 jumping jacks

4 minute 90 degree bicep hold
So much fun and different from what I usually do. I LOVE mixing it up!
Last weekend, I went to Phat Camp in Las Vegas. It was SO MUCH fun. It was a great opportunity to meet new people, and also get some great workouts in that I wouldn't normally do. Here's a picture of me and Nicole Wilkins...it was taken during our lunch break.
On another note of doing what you love...I have a photo shoot coming up in 12 days. YAY! Gonna work hard so I can look my best!
Until next time...train hard, work hard...BE HAPPY!
