I really enjoyed myself over the holidays too, but it's back to hard workouts (AKA Operation De-Fluffing time!). I killed my legs this morning, I took a nice walk with a friend and then I did some cardio. I really haven't done many two a days for a few months, and it felt really good! I thought about maybe training for a half marathon. I ran one day for about 4 miles, and my back was sore for about a week. I know that it takes some training and I cannot get in half marathon shape overnight. However, I don't know if I'm willing to go through that "breaking in" pain again. So I am not sure what my next goals will be. I have some thoughts, but nothing definite yet. Being healthy and happy is always a good goal, but I like the feeling of competition and have a date to strive for.
I have thought about putting up some YouTube videos instead of doing this blog. There aren't many videos out there about vegetarian bikini competitors, so that would be nice. Or workouts from home, but it seems like there are a lot of them are out there already. I am not doing this to make money (even though that's a nice perk!), but I just want to put something out there that's unique.
Lastly, make sure to follow me on Instagram (kelliraefit). I really like taking pictures of my food, workouts and my life to share with people. It's also a great way to get inspired and motivated, whether that's through me or someone else. I will also be updating Instagram more often than my blog. Starting next week, my work is going to be getting busier and busier! So fun, but I just need to pick a couple of sites to update on a regular basis.
